Near the southern border of Canada, close to Niagara Falls, is a gorgeous town called Niagara-on-the-lake. My family and I got to visit my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousins last Fall, and they just so happen to live in this beautiful place. Every time I visit, I can’t get over the perfectly manicured lawns, the curb appeal of every single home, and the wineries. OH MY GOSH. THE WINERIES. I could go on and on about them! We got to visit a few and I’ll never forget the fun we had! I bought a bottle from one of them, actually, and even though it’s been almost a year, I just can’t bring myself to open it. It is so delicious and such a unique blend that I am afraid to open it for anything less than a special occasion. I know how ridiculous that sounds.
Anyway, we got to visit Toronto as well during our stay in Canada. The Distillery District is always fun to go to, but I think the one place I can never pass up is a restaurant called The Marché. In all my travels, I’ve never really come across something as unique as this place. It incorporates a ton of different cultures, all with individual kiosks, and you can order whatever you want, whenever you want as you walk around and “feast with your eyes”. I’m so hungry right now.
I miss my family a lot at the moment, and this is bringing back a lot of fond memories for me. I think I’m gonna go so I can call my mom or something. Bye!
