Dumb Mistake

This past summer we visited one of my favorite spots to go hangout in Colorado Springs – Ivywild School. It’s an old schoolhouse-turned-district that includes a coffeeshop, brewing company, and whiskey bar (among other adorable shops) inside. At this point, however, you may be wondering what the title of this post is all about. Well. I did something super dumb. I took a bunch of awesome photos of Ivywild School, and I thought I had uploaded them all to Lightroom (a photo editing software I like to use). Turns out, I only uploaded one. That would have been fine, but I deleted the rest off my memory card, thinking they were safe and sound on my computer. D.U.M.B. Dumb. I’m still so pissed about this, actually, and the more I blog about it, the worse I feel because I never got the chance to go back before taking off for North Carolina!!!

Good thing is that we will be returning to the Springs in January, so we will be able to go back – but it won’t be nearly as pretty as it was in the summer (PS there’s a 50% chance we’ll be moving in May, so we might not be able to visit Ivywild again during the warm season). Oh well, lesson learned.

I’ll close this post on a more positive tone: I just found out that my graduation application from Liberty University was accepted! I will officially be graduating in December with my B.S. in Psychology, minoring in Counseling. AND!!!! I will be starting my Master’s in Professional Counseling in the new year! Things are about to change drastically, and even though I know I will be even busier than I am now, I am very excited (understatement, actually)! 😀
